CHEPPING 16 PLUS YOUNG DRIVERS
This course is being held at High Wycombe Rugby Club, Kingsmead Road, High Wycombe
The courses are organized & conducted by Approved Driving Instructors (ADI). All instructors are CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) checked.
16+ YOUNG DRIVERS COURSE.
The course is an off road driving course and is aimed at young drivers 16/17+ and is a 1 ½ day course.
(Summer Holiday) EVENING COURSE Thursday 22nd July 2010 6.15pm - 9.00pm & ALL DAY Thursday 29th July 2010 9.00am - 4.30pm.
(Half term) EVENING COURSE Thursday 21st October 2010 6.15pm - 9.00pm & ALL DAY Monday 25th October 2010 9.00am - 4.30pm.

On the evening course pupils will see a excellent presentation from Fire Service on drink driving and also learning Theory and hazard perception with practice on laptops. On the all day course pupils will see presentations in morning from: - Magistrates on points on licence and convictions /Arrive Alive presentation on road safety /Police presentation on Motorways & being shown police car. Eye sight test conducted by Road safety Officer. Afternoon: - Pupils Driving 2 pupils to one instructor car for 1 hour. Also doing Brake reactor supervised by road safety officer and Car maintenance-Tell me / show me questions on car. At the end, each pupil will then receive a certificate for completing the course and entitles them to a free driving lesson, when they have provisional licence with an instructor from the course. Please bring Packed lunch and drink. We are hoping to run these courses each holiday and school half terms. Other courses i.e. winter driving and motorway will be run regularly in evenings.

NEW COURSE - PRESENTATION FOR PARENTS OF LEARNER DRIVERS
Monday 21ST June 2010 7-9pm at Wycombe Rugby Club. This is an information evening for the parents and carer's of pre drivers learning, or preparing to learn to drive. The course aims to help learners, their families and accompanying drivers to understand the process involved in learning to drive and to give them the knowledge and confidence to help novice drivers though the process and become safer drivers. There will be short presentations from Driving Standards Agency, Transport for Buckinghamshire Road Safety Team, Bucks Fire & Rescue and Trading Standards. There will also be an opportunity to practice for theory test and hazard perception on laptops. There will also be other organisations attending with stands to provide relevant information.
Cost is £10 per family. Telephone first to check availability for course, then use application form to apply - on form clearly mark for Parents of learners course then post to address on form attaching cheque for £10.
